We are excited to announce the next generation of VR multiplayer with the launch of the Early Access open-world game Neon Exile in Summer 2019. Build, climb, explore and fight back against a robotic threat in an open-world persistent MMO created from the ground up for VR. This is the world of Neon Exile, a world where your actions matter because anything you build, craft or even drop, will persist in a single shared multiplayer instance of this groundbreaking dystopian world. Will you explore the wasteland in search of enemy bases or will you stay back to defend your base from attacks? Will you collect valuable resources or will you build structures to expand your territory? In Neon Exile you choose your own path, whether you want to join a team or play by yourself, the live simulation will always be there, shaped by the players.
Starting with an Early Access release in Summer 2019 featuring the first playable region, Neon Exile will lean on the feedback of the VR enthusiast community to guide the direction of the game to its full release in 2020. Join us and become one of Neon Exile’s early experimental test pilots. Enlist today: http://www.neonexile.com/ A few years back, we had success with a turn-based, strategy game called Battle Fleet 2. Its sister title, Battle Fleet: Ground Assault, is celebrating two milestones on Thursday, March 14th, 2019: its iPad release and the addition of a virtual reality mode on PC!
Battle Fleet: Ground Assault continues the series' iconic angle-and-power style of gameplay, but unlike Battle Fleet 2's naval setting, Ground Assault focuses on tank combat across World War II's battlefields. This change of venue allows players to exploit the environment, weapon types, strategic drops, and unique tanks to help them secure victory. With 20 iconic tanks, a Western Europe campaign (from both Axis and Allied perspectives), custom single-player matches, and cross-platform (iOS/PC) multiplayer, Ground Assault has plenty for both strategy and history buffs to play with. Exclusive to the PC version is the addition of a virtual reality mode that lets you lean in, survey the battlefield, and feel like a commander watching their strategies come to life. Announcement: Skytropolis Celebrates Version 1.1 Update with New Features, New Music, and a Sale!8/22/2018 We're proud to announce that Skytropolis - our vertical city building game - just received its first major update! Version 1.1 adds to the balancing act with a new maintenance system. Over time, modules that generate revenue such as apartments, offices, and restaurants will wear out, reducing their revenue and eventually driving out their tenants. For large towers, upkeep proves an arduous task, but with new problems come new solutions; the update introduces three new modules - two for maintenance and one for keeping citizens fed: Maintenance Office - repairs all modules on the same floor. Maintenance Center - activates all Maintenance Offices throughout the Skytropolis, effectively repairing all modules with one click. Grocery Store - provides a small amount of food, health and employment for the Skytropolis. To celebrate these changes, 5 new songs have been added to the game, the official soundtrack is out, and Skytropolis is 30% off on Steam until Tuesday, August 28th, 2018!
As always, Skytropolis is available for play on traditional desktop monitors and in virtual reality headsets, so no matter how you want to build your dream tower, we hope you build it with us! Want to write about us? You can find the Skytropolis press kit here or email jeremy@mythicalcitygames.com if you have any other questions. |
